·This is free bundle monthly plan. Customer is required to sign a 3/6/12 -month fixed term contract (Retail store provides 12-month fixed contract term monthly plan only). All chosen bundles shall have the same contract period. If the free bundle monthly fee is lower than $60, the customer is required to make a prepayment for 3 months service fees and 3 months Mobile Service License & Administration Fees ($18 per month). If the free bundle monthly fee is higher than $60, the customer is only required to make a prepayment for the first month service fee plus $18 being a month Mobile Service License & Administration Fees. 


   

· Extra local and Mainland China airtime charges are $0.8 per minute. Receiving any voice calls via Mainland China number within Hong Kong will be additionally charged at $0.4 per minute. Sending local SMS in Hong Kong /Mainland China each is charge at $0.5. 


   

· Extra local and Mainland China data charges are $05/MB. Monthly Cap for 100MB data package is $100, for 200MB data package is $90, and for 500MB data package is $70).


   

· Voice and data services across all provinces of Mainland China are activated by default. If no data service is needed, please manually disable the handset’s data feature. 


   

·  Roaming service is available for designated places only. Please visit our company’s website for service coverage and charging details.


   

· The deposit for Roaming and IDD service would be waived if customer’s service plan payment is settled by VISA/MasterCard direct debit.


   

· Data service does not support video call, Blackberry and multimedia messaging (MMS)


   

· These offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotional offers.


   

· Data usage is subject to Fair Usage Policy. When Hong Kong or Mainland China data usage (calculated separately) exceeds 1 GB, the upload/download speed would be restricted but not below 128 kbps, and tethering and Peer-to-Peer services would not be available. Please refer to Fair Usage Policy of China Unicom (Hong Kong) Operations Limited for details. 


   

· The service supports highest upload/download speeds of 384kbps but the actual data transmission speed may be affected by various factors such as the relative position between the user and the transmitting station, server’s capacity, Internet traffic conditions, number of users, the handset’s highest network supporting speed, hardware, software and other conditions which may arise. 


   

· Customers may need to enable Data Roaming function for data usage in Hong Kong and the handset may show a letter ‘R’.  However, roaming rate will not apply for the use of local voice and data service in Hong Kong.

Delivery Date

1.   Related to mobile data services
1.1 The service supports   highest upload/download speeds of 384kbps but the actual data transmission   speed may be affected by various factors such as the relative position   between the user and the transmitting station, server’s   capacity, Internet traffic conditions, number of users, the handset’s highest   network supporting speed, hardware, software and other conditions which may   arise.
1.2 All data usage subject to   China Unicom (Hong Kong) operations limited Fair Usage Policy.
1.3 When customer is located   out of 4G coverage in Hong Kong, China Unicom Hong Kong will provide service   to customer via 3G/2G network.
1.4 Data service does not   support video call, Blackberry and multimedia messaging (MMS)

2. Service Plan
2.1 This is Flexi Combo   monthly plan, subscriber is required to choose the main course and at least 1   of the airtime & data bundle.
2.2 First month of monthly   fees and licences and administration fee is charged pro rata daily, except   for monthly charges for value-added services.
2.3 Unless otherwise   specified, Service Plan included usage will be calculated on a per minute   basis. Any usage of less than one minute will be counted as one minute. The   minimum data charging unit is 1KB. Usage under 1KB   will be rounded up to the nearest 1KB. Monthly cumulative data usage less   than 1 Mbyte will be counted as 1 Mbyte.
2.4 A deposit of $300 is   payable for the registration of international roaming (designed region) and   IDD services. Such deposit would be waived if customer’s service plan payment is settled by   VISA/MasterCard direct debit. The charges or rates for international roaming   and IDD services are subject to change from time to time without prior notice. 2.5 Customer can login the   personal account online to change the service bundle, any bundle changes will   be effective in next month. After the changes, service bundle charge will return to standard   price.
2.6 "Mainland China   Number" is complimentary. However, if the "Mainland China   Number" has to be disabled or such service must be terminated for   whatever reason, customer agrees to give up the assigned   "Mainland China Number" and return it to China Unicom Hong Kong.
     
3. Within Fixed Term Contract   period, customers in any of the following circumstances shall pay liquidated   damages to the company (that is, the sum of the original monthly fee of applicable Service Plan   multiple by the remaining months of the Term) and pay a $300 fee for early   termination of the contract Administration fee)
3.2 If the customer changes   selection below of the original sales and service contract monthly plan or   2G/3G service plans;
3.3 Regardless of the reason   for mobile phone services terminated.
China Unicom(Hong   Kong)Operation Limited Fair Usage Policy
    1. Policy objective
   
    In order to meet customers growing demand for mobile data usage, China   Unicom Hong Kong will strive to enhance the quality of telecommunications   services. However, China Unicom Hong Kong network is shared by all customers,   high amount of clients or customers in the use of high-usage applications   such as point to point services (Peer-to-Peer services) and network sharing   (Tethering) occupied by a network resource usage is higher, which could   affect other customers. In order to ensure that each customer can be given   equal access to mobile data services and reasonable environment, without   affecting other customers, and protect the stability and security of China   Unicom Hong Kong network, China Unicom Hong Kong establish the Fair Usage   Policy, through the implementation of the policy so that every customer has a   fair and reasonable opportunity to use mobile data services.
   
    2. Policy implementation
   
    2.1 Customer signed with China Unicom (Hong Kong) ' Mobile Communication   Service Application Form”, "China Unicom (Hong Kong) Mobile   Communication Terms of Service " and other accompanying documents   (" Service Contract "), China Unicom (Hong Kong) will be selected   according to customer's service plan, the Hong Kong mobile data limit and   related charges, and value-added services in service contracts stipulate   apply to customer’s “Fair Usage Data Threshold”.
    2.2. In the 1st of each month from 00:00 to 23:59 the last day of each   month ( "Monthly service period " ) , once the aggregate local data   usage of a customer reaches the relevant Fair Usage Data Threshold applicable   to the customer, customer can still use mobile data services , but China   Unicom (Hong Kong) have the right to reduce and restrict the data access   speed (upload and download) to not less than 128 kbps, and limit the use of   non- peer (peer-to-peer services) and network sharing (tethering) function.   The restriction will cease to apply at the beginning of the next monthly   service period.
   
    3. Application and modification
   
    3.1.This principle applies to all customers using China Unicom (Hong Kong)   personal telecommunications services. Any discrepancies in this principle   with the contract terms related services, places subject to the relevant part   of the service contract.
    3.2.China Unicom (Hong Kong) reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions   of this fair usage policies and amendments in a reasonable way in less than   30 days before the entry into force of amendments to inform customers, and   announced a new revision of the fair use policy provisions and effective date   in China Unicom (Hong Kong) website (http://www.cuniq.com).
